::Hellion::
Name: Julian Keller
Codename: Hellion
Affiliation: Hellion Squad (X-Students)
Age: 18
Physical Appearance: Facial and Bodily: Altogether, Julian Keller's appearances greatly resembles that of what a man from the early nineteen-hundreds would be considered as handsome or studly. No female can deny that his short, well-kept hair with no bangs, except for one curled-up string of black silk that makes its way to his forehead, is seen as a "man-pretty" asset to the rest of him. And to boost his studly appearance up just a few notches, his smooth, creamy peach skin perfectly complements his glistening jet black hair. Julian's face, which seems to be carved by the like of such heavenly entities as Angels, seems to be an ornately decorated planter made for the magnificent black rose that his hair may embody in an artistic world.
The young man's figure, to say the least, exaggerates the amount of training and work-outs Julian undergoes each day as a member of the Hellions, and the tight spandex of the X-Men uniforms only amplify the appearance of his large muscles. Because of his height and weight, Julian has the perfect body type required for the strenuous activities he endures as a mutant of the X-Men and allows him the potential of becoming a model as a backup occupation to crime fighting. Besides all these exterior features of the Hellion, we shall look at the interior. Durability is a secondhand ability not given to him by mutation - his strong, healthy bones, working, undamaged organs, and the sheer mass of his biceps beautifully demonstrate such durability. And, as an added bonus, the wondrous supply of youth Julian retains only adds to his handsome appearance.
Casual: Julian Keller's casual outfits consist normally of thin-short sleeve shirts covered by a fashionable dark-colored coat, blue jeans or baggy pants, and black sneakers. Color schemes are normally neutral colors (blacks and whites, which includes grays) and on the occasion, dark blues, maroon, or envy green.
Formal: There are two types to Julian's formal outfits - there is the party formal outfit and the dressy formal outfit. As for a party formal outfit, which is worn much more often than the dressy formal outfit, Julian wears a respectable button-up, normally not of a solid color, but mixed with patterns, and nice black jeans, ending with black slick shoes or converses, depending on the party. Color schemes range from black to blue, including all neutral colors between the two.
The dressy outfit consists of a simply, classy black tuxedo with a maroon-colored tie and sometimes a burnt brown pair of shoes, if not classic black dress shoes. If the situation is right, Julian will also wear a matching black Fedora with a maroon exterior band, which matches his tuxedo and tie.
Training Uniform: The training uniform, which is normally worn during Danger Room excursions, is of a solid white hue and made of tight spandex. The suit is completely white, with no patterns or streaks of other colors, except for a slight silver band around the ankles and wrists and the classic X-insignia on the chest.
Hellion Uniform: Julian's Hellion uniform, which he uses during missions and other activities that requires such a uniform, is much more complex than the training uniform. The color scheme of this uniform is all red and silver, and there are two pieces to it. The first piece, which is full-body and sleeveless, is red with the X-insignia in silver on his chest, surrounded by silver triangles as if targeting in on the X. Other silver areas include a silver band at the waistline with a drop down near his crotch, two silver streaks along the sides of the thighs, and silver bands, similar to the one around his waist, that adorn the shins. Over this one piece is a short-sleeve red jacket, possibly of Hellion's own creation, to add a zing to the outfit and express his free-spirited nature and electric personality. For gloves, Hellion wears finger-less red ones that may only slightly reduce the momentum of a punch.
Strengths: (not quite sure what you mean)
- Have his friends by his side
- Having Wind Dancer close and under his protection
- An area with a multitude of movable objects
Weaknesses: (once again, not quite sure)
- being alone (a leader leading no one)
- being asleep
Powers: Hellion’s mutant ability primarily consist of being able to move any matter with but the thought of doing so. This mutant power is used in various different ways; he has the ability to fly, create small kinetic shields with a have of his hand, cause force blasts that can knock enemies away if needed, and he can manipulate most objects from a distance. Though his power is finely controlled, under the strenuous exercises and training sessions undergone at the Xavier Institute, his telekinetic potential is a vast and limitless. With extended training, Hellion may very well become one of the strongest and most mastered telekinetics of all mutants, passing even the likes of Jean Grey or Charles Xavier himself, in due time. But Julian, as fresh and youthful as he is, has not completely mastered his abilities.
The range that his telekinetic abilities reach, in distance, would be around one or two miles away – as long the object is in sight, he can at least shift it to some extent. However, this does not mean that closer objects have to be seen to be moved. If he knows they are there, he can lift them. Weight wise, Hellion can currently only life two tons, telekinetically, without mentally straining himself.
Hellion’s abilities regarding any superhuman mutations, such as superhuman strength or dexterity, are yet to be seen, if there at all. He has the strength and agility of a young man his age who takes part in everyday exercise, occasionally strenuous (he is muscled) and above average durability and dexterity, for he keeps his body in great shape, has never broken a bone in his body, and take his vitamins everyday.
Occasionally, though his powers are normally deep under his control, he may accidentally cause a force blast while turning a doorknob or picking something up off the ground. This is only a stint in his mutation that he should overcome in time.
Other Skills: Great Leader, Skilled Tactician
History: Julian Keller was born to an extremely wealthy family who had an abundance of everything. In their mansion, which consisted of four stories in all, they had five bathrooms, ten bedrooms (in case of guests), two dining rooms, two staircases in the foyer, four kitchens, two family rooms, and one grand living room that led of from the main foyer. Living in such a giant mansion with arrogant parents whose egos were fueled solely by wealth, shaped Julian to be the cocky young man he is at the present time. You couldn’t blame him, though, being an only child who got everything he dreamed, believing life to simply be that way; believing that everything was simply handed to you. And, in Julian’s case, everything was handed to him – on a golden platter when it came to food.
The young Keller boy was never lonely, either. He had personal servants assigned only to him, along with friends who would come over all the time to marvel at all his “awesome” toys and video games. Julian loved the attention, even at the age of five. When he was a child, he wanted to be an actor when he grew up, and his parents nurtured the aspiration with their wealth, for they knew that they would get a portion of what he made when he grew up. So, his daily schedule was filled with acting classes and diction exercises until he became a teenager.
This is when his powers first manifested, at the age of fifteen. One day, while he sat idly on the couch at home, his mother came into the room and asked him what he would like to eat for dinner. Since the sky was the limit, Julian came up with the longest list of foodstuffs possible – it was a funny little game had with his mother, to see if she could remember all that he had requested for. She gave a smile and ran into the kitchen to begin working on her young son’s dinner. Though yes, she did have cooks to cook for her, she chose to cook. She shared a special bond with her son that always had seemed unbreakable.
The food preparation was going great until she called Julian in to retrieve some flour from the pantry. In a lazy manner, Julian chose not to get up for a while, wishing he could just make the flour appear in front of her instead of having to get up. To his mother’s surprise, the flour began floating out of the pantry, and landed with a splat in front of her on the table. “How did…” she wondered to herself, and ran into the living room. Thinking that his mother was becoming impatient, Julian quietly jumped off the couch and ran to help her. Before he had reached the kitchen, his mother began to speak to him. “Julian, the flour came out of the pantry by itself. Did yo-“ Julian’s mother started to declare, but then the lamp began to float up, along with pillows off the couch.
Julian stared around himself, utterly confused and bewildered. And then his father walked in and almost had a heart attack.
His father glared at his mother in a knowing way and turned on Julian like a rattlesnake. “Never speak of this to anyone!” he yelled at him, anger raging up from inside him. Julian, eyes wide and confused, stared at his mother for answers. Instead of relieving him or trying to fix the situation, simply repeated the command. Distraught, Julian ran upstairs and fell down onto his bed, taken over by complete disbelief. He had seen it on the news, in the daily papers… his parents had talked about it, how preposterous and stupid they thought they were… mutants. From there forth, Julian Keller knew what he was. He was a mutant, no doubt about it. Secretly, he used to watch the news as a little kid and pretend he had superpowers, but his parents had always told him not to practice such nonsensical thoughts.
Julian embraced his gift, his mutant ability, unlike his parents who seemed to be disgusted by the mere thought of them. At least… his father was. His mother always seemed to enjoy watching the mutants on TV, smiling at the screen as Ms. Marvel flew by, ready to beat up some bad guys. But, when Julian’s father was around, his mother was as stern and hateful when it came to mutants as he was.
After embracing this gift, Julian rushed to his parents the next day and made his refusal. He told them that he would not hide his powers, that he would practice them. Before another word could be said, the decision was made. His parents shipped him off to Xavier’s. At the Xavier Institute, Julian’s ego was knocked down a few notches. Here at the X-Mansion, it did not matter where you came from, or how much money you had. The only thing that mattered was if you could control your powers and use them for the good of mankind. At least, that’s what all the classes there taught you.
Julian learned well at the Institute, and eventually became controlled and mastered with his powers. He eventually unlocked many new telekinetic abilities; instead of just lifting things with his mind, Julian learned how to create force blasts and kinetic shields, something he never would have learned to do if he had not learned to control his powers at the Xavier Institute. For that, he thanked his parents. But the true recognition of his powers came when training squads were implemented.
Emma Frost, an instructor at the Institute, led the Hellions squad, which ended up winning a Field Day competition held at the Institute. In tribute to the squad’s name, his friends, and the honor he held as the celebrated leader, he chose his codename to be Hellion. And, to the side, it was to suck up to Ms. Frost, as she had once had a similar training squad when she was part of the Hellfire Club.
Sample RP: (Does this need to have something to do with Hellion or can it be a writing piece from somewhere else that just shows my writing abilities?)
